A Lot Has Happened, and A Lot Has Not...
Hey, all.
Sorry I've been gone for so long. I kind of had to make an impromptu hiatus when I finally got better from the cold I caught when I last wrote a journal here in order to catch up with my school work. The incident regarding... the thing... from April has been resolved, it was an easy fix, and I was merely panicking like I always do. As for my pneumonic embolism, it's under control as well, but I'll be on medication for it for a long while until I finally lose weight again. I finished spring semester with flying colors, went to Mesa weight training class for summer, and enrolled in additional BOT courses at Grossmont this fall, e

Surprisingly, unisom is a drug even I as a preggo lady can take. I would always ask a doc, though. I'm in the military healthcare system, but I have a nurse triage line I can call at any time of night and ask questions. Haha.
I usually keep my room pretty cool, try not to drink too many liquids before bed, limit caffeine to when I first wake up before work. I also keep multiple thickness blankets around to adjust as I need throughout the night.
We also have blackout curtains. They help a lot. I find reading (a paper book, no screens) helps too when I can't sleep. And of course, a warm bath before bed, with chamomile soap or chamomile tea.
