Description

I know it's been too long since I submitted anything since my self-proclaimed promise to be more punctual with my art (which got pushed on the sideline when I innocently got myself into the Skyrim hype like an idiot with no regrets). That's why I felt, after finishing up two new journal header/footer images for my next CSS layout, I did a compare/contrast list of the previous Rumple-chans I've done in the past... five or six years, has it been? :faint:

Anyway, these are basically my private collection of Rumple-chan cliparts that I use for a variety of things like journal decorations, signatures, avatars, business pamphlets (or cards, but I did made pamphlets at one time), and references. There have been very subtle changes into the design over the years (mainly around the ear-tuffs), as well as my style and/or physical construct from bipedal to quad, ottsel-like to lombax-like and then to more feline attributes. I still feel that some improvements are still in order, even in my latest work, but I think Mom would say otherwise

There are more variations, but these are the primary images I used for my signatures as well as former journal headers and footers. The latest two will be the newest edition, which I hope will be able to work in my copious spare time this week getting back into school life.

And for those of you who DO remember my human-esque fursona... I've got nothing ^^; Most of them were done in traditional art and I'm sure they're getting more wet in our cruddy ol' storage building in the back yard as I type this. It was too connect to my old former self as an anime noob, but for some reason, the human-esque rendition looks silly enough to be put in a Homestar Runner universe :XD:

Anyway, new journal layout, signature stamps and avatar coming soon...

Program Used: Photoshop 7, CS2 & CS4

It's always a treat to see how someone's art- especially with a main character- evolves over the years.

The changes here are subtle- look at the eyes in 2006, and the coloring back then was still pretty advanced. In fact, the entire style was good years ago, like here:

(still one of my favorites)

You seem to be at the point, and have been for some time, where your style is firmly established, both for actual drawing and coloring. This would mean then that you'd likely expand what you can actually do; that is, being able to draw more and more things you normally didn't or couldn't.

By "human-esque" do you mean this form:

If so and the originals are damaged, then it's lucky that they are here- at least you can make good copies of them! It doesn't quite replace an original, but this is one good thing about the Internet and DA: there is good backup!

By the way, what is that thing Rumple-Chan is wearing- the electronic thing?
